Setting up approval workflows with @attendancebot is super easy. Every team member can set an optional manager to whom their vacation requests will go for approval. 

1. When you create your first vacation request, @attendancebot will ask you to state the username of your manager. Please note the username is '@' followed by the username you use to chat with your manager on Teams. You can also change your manager anytime via 'change manager'.


2. Once set, your subsequent vacation requests will go to your manager for approvals.

3. Leave types like "Working from Home", "Working Remotely", "Working from office" do not require approval and populate as an FYI notification to the managers.
