We're psyched to release a new action menu with button navigation! Accessible by messaging help, menu, start, or options to AttendanceBot, the new help menu navigator is ready to assist:
- New users and anyone just getting started
- Those looking to learn more and explore AttendanceBot
- Anyone who needs help or assistance navigating the app!
It's as simple as 1, 2, 3:
1. Help or menu or start or options launches the help menu navigator
2. AttendanceBot displays up to four action categories depending on user permissions and account-level features
3. Clicking into a category opens a new, user-specific set of available actions, along with a "return to menu" option. For instance users can apply for leave or view their pending leaves by clicking "time off and hybrid work" and selecting the relevant button. Similarly, a user can punch or take a break by selecting the button from the "timesheet actions" menu.
Every button corresponds exactly to the quick-command text for each action, though selecting through buttons achieves the same result!
It's that simple. And of course, the help menu still includes a reminder to use dialm to send a Slack message to our support team, along with a link to the customizable cheatsheet for further explanation.
