In Slack, type:
change delegate @usernameThen, when prompted, type the username of the new delegate manager:
@newmanager✅ This will give the selected user temporary approval access — including yourself, if needed.
Viewing Pending Leave Requests
Once a delegate is set up, they can see and act on pending requests.
Type:
pendingThis will display all leave requests waiting for approval.
The delegate manager will see the pending requests assigned to them and can approve or reject as needed.
Removing Delegate Permissions
When the delegate period ends, you can remove their access easily:
